Construction Begins on Harvest Hills Subdivision

Williston Economic Development News Release - A groundbreaking ceremony was held recently for the Harvest Hills Subdivision in northwest Williston. The 280-acre real estate project, "will posture Williston for additional growth by providing 2,300 housing units over three phases," says Williston Mayor Ward Koeser. "That could easily be another 5,000 residents!" Harvest Hills is a master planned "mixed-use" project with a variety of single family, multi family, neighborhood businesses and will incorporate a public park and pathway system and a potential school," says Terry Metzler, North Dakota Operations Manager for Granite Peak Development. Trinity Breaks Ground on New Clinic
News Release - Trinity Health broke ground recently on a new 60,000 square foot specialty clinic in Williston. Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act), USDA Rural Development financed the project with a $5.5 million loan. "Energy production has led to a growing population in the region and the new facility will provide better access to vital medical services," said State Director Jasper Schneider, USDA Rural Development. The new facility will be a three-story medical office building that will replace two existing clinics - Trinity Community Clinic-Western Dakota and Trinity Regional Eyecare. The total estimated project cost is $10,405,462 with Trinity Health providing the additional funds. Read More.
